EWH
Equipment Repair Program
The Equipment Repair Program aims to decrease the carbon footprint of Washington University while educating students and helping communities around the world. Students are given access to unused laboratory equipment at Washington University’s medical school to repair and test under the supervision of a trained technician. The equipment is then sent off to laboratories in developing countries, namely Kenya and Honduras. Contact Ashley Williams, aawilliams90@gmail.com, to get involved.
Design Competition
We entered in both the EWH design competition and the BMEStart competition this past year. If you are creative and seeking a challenge, we are the project for you. This is a chance to get hands-on with engineering at WashU. We're looking for the next go-getters to put us over the top to design better medical technology than schools like Johns Hopkins, Oxford and Purdue. Contact Abby Cohen, cohenabigailr@gmail.com, to get involved.
